Selected Neurofeedback Providers (including us)

Biofeedback is a field with deep roots in psychology and clinical work, but with recent clinical applications of brain-wave biofeedback (neurofeedback), the field is in a state of transition. There is at present no consensus on what constitutes the model of neurofeedback. The following site listing does not constitute endorsement of the model of neurofeedback promoted by that site.

www.eeginfo.com: EEG Information
Neurofeedback information and resources for the public and professionals, including neurofeedback definitions, directory of providers, etc.

www.eegspectrum.com: EEG Spectrum International is one of the original neurofeedback providers. Their site is a rich source of information on a variety of neurofeedback topics, including popular and scientific articles on neurofeedback.

www.zengar.com: The Zengar Institute represents, develops, and promotes a neurofeedback philosophy (Period 3) and training software (NeuroCare Pro) of Drs. Val and Sue Brown. Some aspects of Period 3 neurofeedback are outlined on the site, which takes as its starting point that the brain is a non-linear information processor uniquely responsive to feedback.

www.apcentre.com: Applied Psychology Centre. Operated by Dr. Donald R. Maxwell, the Applied Psychology Centre applies neurofeedback, other forms of biofeedback, and strategy training to problems of attention, learning, and performance.

www.skiltopo.com: Sterman-Kaiser Imaging Laboratory (SKIL). Dr. Sterman is a pioneering researcher on the foundations and application of neurofeedback. He was the first to demonstrate the power of neurofeedback to re-regulate the epileptic brain.

He has teamed up with his former student, Dr. David Kaiser, to produce analytical software for performing quantitative EEG (qEEG or brain mapping) analysis to help guide the definition of neurofeedback protocols.

www.lexicor.org: Lexicor Corporation produces neurofeedback and qEEG (brain mapping) hardware and software and is a well-known name in the field of applied psychophysiology. The site offers interesting information on the scientific basis and current clinical relevance of brain mapping.
